Thank you very much, Prokopis. She is also the signs of my limits. I start suffering under her pressure. But that´s her character I think - uncompromising.

The finished piece was worth the work. Lovely!

oh, she´s not finished, yet. Her diadem is still missing, but since I put on the veil, she´s terribly delicate on every touch. Since she fell down once (no harm done). It terrifies me to even think of taking her out of the cabinet....

Hallo,
your Queen Elisabeth is very, very beautiful. Did you make the dress also with paper? And how?

Many greeting

Thank you, Brigitte. Yes the Queen is completely out of paper. The dress, underwear, shoes. You can see it on the picture "Making of Queen Elizabeth I." It´s hard to describe in a few words. I work with papersheets and wallpaper paste and found out, that you can give it any form by rolling, folding or putting many layers together. usually I work with newspaper - I have also unprinted sheets - for the Queen I also used tissue paper for the corset lace because of it´s ability to cope with strain. If you have a facebook account, you can see a lot more how I work, feel free to tune in!
