Work in progress - Harris hare

Here is my model of a brown Hare with the armature completed and the addition of some pulp. For the pulp I am using egg box type material which makes a very good strong pulp when mixed with glue and filler. I got a load of Comic Relief Red Nose trays that were used to hold red noses on display in the Oxfam shop where I work for a few hours in the week. The back legs on the model are giving me a bit of grief as the weight of wet pulp is making them sag, Luckily I have some araldite epoxy glue to hand that will sort out that problem. Because this model has come together quickly I intend to make a Tortoise to go with the hare, the sculpture piece can then be called ''The Hare and the Tortoise'' after the Children's tale.
