Hot Air Ballon

This is my first time and would like to know what would be the easiest way to make one ? Thanks big_smile

Hi Dawnmarie,

If this is your first attempt ever at papier mache, have a look at "Tutorials" - "Getting Started" This will help you with the basics.

A large balloon seems to be the obvious choice to form your hot air balloon. Just make sure it is knotted tightly and don't take too long getting your first few layers on before the balloon has a chance to shrink. "Bowled Over" will show you the basic technique for covering a balloon. When it is dry you could paint it or use torn pieces of coloured paper to decorate it. A small wicker basket could be hung from string underneath.
