What is your favorite book on papier-mache?

I don't own many books on papier-mache and I was thinking about maybe getting a few more in the future for inspiration. So I'd love to hear what is your favorite book on papier-mache is, other than Jackie's of course! big_smile

Mine is a tiny little book called 'The Usborne Book of Papier-Mache'.

Juliet Bawden: The Art and Craft of Papier Mache, published by Mitchell Beazley.  It got me back into PM as an art form; that and my son's copy of the Art Attack book.  this is a how to book from a British children's TV program and is full of fabulous ideas.

Re: What is your favorite book on papier-mache?

My favorite is an oldy but goody, the first book that introduced me to papier mache as an art form rather than a school project. Design in Papier Mache by Carla and John B. Kenny. Its a Chilton book published in 1971, but they have chapters devoted to playing with form and shape as well as how-tos. They even have a chapter devoted to furniture making and refinishing! The projects have a definate "groovy kind of 70s" look, but the instructions are detailed and lots of pictures. You can find it used on Ebay and Amazon for relatively cheap. I have several PM books but this one is still my favorite, or maybe I'm just sentimental LOL

Re: What is your favorite book on papier-mache?

I do papier mache whenever I have time. It's my way to release stress. I found these books helpful:
1. Papier-Mache Treasures with Teena Flanner: Creating Your Own Vintage-Style Collectibles
2. Dollmaking With Papier Mache and Paper Clay

Hope these books will help you too. Goodluck!
