What have you guys been making during my papier-mache vacation?

The trivial things in life seemed to get in the way for a while, and I found myself on an accidental papier-mache vacation. I did miss it so, and have been wondering what you guys have been making.

Please tell me all about your projects, what I've missed and what you are thinking of working on in the near future.  I am in need of some inspiration to get started again!

Re: What have you guys been making during my papier-mache vacation?

I know exactly what you mean, I have not been able to do anything really creative since September.  I am now into the thick of my teacher training course and most of my spare time is spent writing up lecture notes, writing lesson plans, writing evaluations and taking maths tests.  What little time that is left over is given whole heartedly to my boys (including the one I married!).  I think I have to face it that I am on an extended PM vacation until next July.

I am having to get my creative input from the forum and the galleries.

Re: What have you guys been making during my papier-mache vacation?

Fortunatelly I am in a good inspiration time. People asked me for chickens, peacoks, dogs etc and I went out to look around and I saw many nice things. This has given me inspiration and now I have a lot of work.

I'm also happy because my husband has helped me to make a homemade dehydrator and when the weather is very humid it's possible to use it. It spends "good" eletricity but it helps a lot.

Now I'm painting the pieces and I have had new ideas!

newmodeller: You make me feel as if I have been in good company on my papier-mache vacation. I hope that next July will greet you with the time you need to be creative again.

Shali: Your husband sounds very wonderful. I hope the dryer works well for you and your pieces.

Re: What have you guys been making during my papier-mache vacation?

I will have to join the club of not making anything since July when the kids broke up for the holidays in the summer. But happy to say that the past few weeks I have been back in the PM swing finishing off some old projects and making some new festive ones.
Bb your thread ( tell me about the projects you are currently working on ) is still up and running.
