I just thought I'd mention in case some people don't already know, that the tools potters use come in very handy for papier maché.  I happened to have a lot of tools from my pot-throwing days and am finding them very useful.  Pottery supply shops usually have a wide range of tools from which to choose and most of them are quite reasonably priced.  Some of you may think it worth while to find a local pottery supply place and have a look.
