Cardboard for paper pulp?

I have a supply of cardboard which works great for armatures, but I was wondering if anyone has tried to make pulp with it?  If so, any tips or advice before I make a big mess?

Thanks!

Re: Cardboard for paper pulp?

You might need to tear the cardboard into small pieces and boil it for 3hours.  You would then soak it for a couple of days (add a capful of clorox to prevent spoiling).  I would keep stirring this mixture as to break up the pieces even smaller.  You could then strain and then blend as usual.
