washi paper

Hi everyone

I have just been looking at the tutorials using 'washi paper'.  Have any of you used it?  Do you know where I can get it? Is  it horribly expensive???  I feel so motivated having looked at the site - I just want to get going and create!!!!!  (Although i confess I'm pretty un artistic  )  But hey, whose to know! roll

Re: washi paper

Hi!

You may be able to buy mulberry paper from your local art store. If not, you can buy it online from Dick Blick (click on the moving paintbrush on the homepage - scroll down to the bottom).

If this is your first attempt at papier mache, you may prefer to try out newspaper to begin with to give you the feel of working with paper. You won't be too disappointed then if it doesnt turn out quite how you would have liked.

Hope you have a lot of fun with your projects.
