The final piece gets 2 final brushed coats of Polycrylic sealer which not only protects the work but brings out the vibrancy of the colour and details.

A special mounting bracket has been built-in to the back of the surfboard whereas KC appears to come out of the wall.

Final words

I contacted Chuy's and told them that I was going to create a sculpture of my vision of their wacked out chicken. They asked me to show them the results when I was done. Well, here it is, from start to finish.
