9 layers of newspaper pasted on to a large plate...I use wall paper paste...the top layer is matte coloured paper torn from Sunday supplements....when dry trim the edges of the plate...paint the back of the plate with acrylic paint to seal it...varnish the front...water based satin varnish...or gloss if you prefer...I used removable sticky fixers to attach the plate to the wall and finished by hanging a fabric heart underneath...why not make some plates to add to a rooms' colour scheme?....
