Hi Sallie: Nice works. I like the "melted" look of the instruments. The finishes on the different rattles are very rich.

I don't know if it was intentional or not, but, like Scylla, I was also struck by the melted look of your instruments, which gives them a slightly surreal vibe that I like.

What'd you use for the tuning pegs on the guitar? The shapes look maddeningly familiar to me, but I can't place them (tops maybe?)

Thank you! I like to sculpt with just paper, without an armature. I love how the paper twists and folds and has a life of it's own. It does give it the melted and organic feel to them.

The tuning pegs are handmade beads. I make a lot of handmade paper and save any and all interesting pieces of scraps, junk mail, etc, often resulting in beads.
