Cool piece. I don't see a lot of child centaurs, and certainly not armed with slingshots (spears, bows, and swords are more the norm), so this is a refreshing take from that perspective. I particularly like the piebald coloring on the horse's hide.

Proportionately, I think the head should be a bit smaller, and the horse anatomy larger, but there's something to be said for exaggerated anatomy as well.

I know which weapons have centaurs. But I don't illustrations for myths. Myth in this case is a source of inspiration. My centaur shoots a slingshot as a regular boy.
Body proportions (big head) I change specifically because for me very important facial expression. Piebald coloring on the horse's hide obtained by a combination of white and colored paper.
