In the above work I have made an attempt at mixed media.

1. The Surface is a Ply Board.
2. The Praying figure is of papier mache pasted on the Board then painted over in Linseed oil (the skin and hair).
3. Paint used is Acrylic for the background and the dress of the figure and the skin and hair colour is in Oil.

For long I have been thinking on working on papier mache as a relief work.

I would love to have your comments (success and failures of this project) and your experience in similar projects.
