After reading Rozani's post (see topic:Experimenting) I remembered using fabric with an animal motif to decoupage a PM box I made.  I was worried about the fabric's edges ravelling out after I cut out the animals I wanted, so I cut out a swatch of fabric containing the  object I wanted.  I painted the swatch with pva or wood glue (use anything that dries clear).  I placed the swatch on a flat plastic tray and left it to dry. After it was dry, I cut out the animal I wanted.  The item did not ravel at the edges at all and was amazingly flexible.  I now use fabric regularly to decorate my PM pieces.
