Re: pulping

Hi!

There are two types of papier mache, layered and pulped. The layered just requires you to tear up strips of paper, paste them and lay them one on top of the other. Pulping is where you soak the paper in water to break down the fibres before adding the adhesive. This gives you a clay-like material to mould. For instructions on the basics, see "Getting Started": http://www.papiermache.co.uk/exec/cms-d … iew/id-23/
You will also find some tips (with photos) on making pulp in Terry's excellent Bird Houses tutorial: http://www.papiermache.co.uk/exec/cms-d … view/id-4/

Hope you enjoy trying it out.
