I am the new owner of a Sermel elephant. I have contacted Sermel and this elephant was part of their Silver Line, made between 1985 and 1990. It is numbered 01/100 and is approx 20" high. It has a wood base with a plaque that says "SERMEL Elefante 01/100". The color is a golden yellow and it is beautiful.
I am looking for a qualified appraiser. Can anyone help?

You may have to go to a major auction house or museum, depending upon which country you are in. The British Museum I am sure would have an expert.
