papier mache pulp

I would like a simple recipe for making paper mache pulp.

Hey Julie! There are many ways to pulp and hopefully you'll receive more than the following recipe enabling you to pick and chose the one that works for you and your specific project.

Pulp

-Shred or strip newsprint, office paper, etc.
-Soak in hot water to soften (an hour or so)
-Loosely pack approx. 3 cups paper to 3 cups water in blender
-Blend
-Strain pulp well until it almost feels dry
(The may take several turns depending upon how much paper you have.)
-Mix wallpaper paste into your pulp at an approximate ratio of 1 paste to 4 pulp.
